Naval Academy freshman Regine Tugade, running for Guam, just missed advancing to the semifinals of the 100 meter dash at the 2016 Olympics in Brazil, finishing third in her preliminary heat in a time of 12.52. The top two in each heat automatically qualified for the semifinals (12.34 finished second).
