Navy men’s track and field recent graduate Tom Buffone (Freehold, N.J.) was named to the Capital One Academic All-America First Team for cross country/track and field by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Thursday. Buffone was recognized for the second consecutive year, as he garnered second-team honors last season.
